Yesterday, I woke up, trying to feel good about being another year older and got a reminder from the incredible edible:
A reminder on the eggs : This is the day that the Lord has made.So, I thought. Instead of using my birthday money to buy stuff I don't need, I decided to take my family to the Zoo for the day. It was a wonderful day!

My birthday cake. Dan humored me and put 27 candles on it plus the number 27 so there were actually 29 candles on my cake...grrrr. :-)
What I have always wanted!! Dan's parents got me my Life is Good - Gotta Run shirts and hat!!!! My day was complete...I couldn't have asked for anything more.
