Dear Walmart,

I have been avoiding you. I know, I know, I didn't give you the proper good bye. I finally got my chance to get out and I took it. I don't love you anymore. I used to, before we spent so much time together. I used to love to walk through your doors. I never knew what I would find. The excitement was still there. I guess seeing you so often got to be too much. I found out who you really were. I worked so hard for you and you left me feeling unappreciated and just plain worn out. It was all about you...what I could do for you. I thought it would be easier seeing you again. It might take some time. Mostly because I am disappointed that I put you on a pedestal for so long. Or maybe because the damage I did to my finances when I was with you. Every time I drive by, it just confirms again in my mind that I did the right thing. You're not even attractive to me anymore. I don't know when I will be back. The spark is gone and I have moved on. I smartened up and realized that Save Money, Live Better is hardly the case with you...Always the low price, always doesn't fit either. Farewell, I wish you all the best. Maybe you will see me around sometime soon.

*This is not meant to be taken seriously at all. My grocery shopping date is coming up and I was thinking about how much I used to love shopping there. It was kinda silly. Just another thing that has changed. I no longer heart Walmart.*

You make me laugh! I would hope that no one would take that seriously!

You know, if you go to the Aldi and Super Wal-Mart up in Delavan your food items won't get taxed! I've been going shopping up there for the past couple times because of that!

Same thing happened to me Beth, they exhaust the day lights out of you and they don't care about your family. For me it is only a JOY to go in there to see my friends that I made while cashiering. Only thing that keeps me going back is they are cheaper than Jewel and Wisteds although I do love Aldi. Believe me you are not ALONE in your feelings. Ha ha............

I am there with you, Walmart is no longer VERY appeling to me. I worked at Sams Club once and they are the same way as Walmart (I know they are connected)I was in the bathroom trowing my brains up and they wanted "Back on the line". About a week later I quit. You did the right thing!!

I know this wasn't serious, but it was funny with a grain of truth in there I'm sure. I never had the uber WM love & it sounds like I'm better off for it :>) Your words sounded like a Dear John letter. "The spark is gone and I have moved on." LOL.

I totally understand what you're saying. After I worked at WM I felt the same way.
Did you get "black listed?" I did - oh well ;)

Rick got blacklisted from WM. He just got so sick of working there, he went on break during a shift & never came back. So he's on some super-top-secret-list where they won't hire him again.
